BAK at home
@bakrestaurant is situated in an old typical warehouse at the IJ. Its interior still includes the typical features of an old warehouse and some modern stylish features are added, such as a fancy wine cabinet and beautiful wooden storages. BAK is known to cook with high quality local products.
It will not surprise you that they keep doing that with their takeaway menu. From Wednesday – Sunday you can order this takeaway menu and you can choose between a few separate dishes and snacks or the chef’s choice for 2 persons (€69) which is a selection of the snacks and dishes and it includes most of the options. Be quick, because the last few weeks of ordering have started!
We picked a few dishes and we were very happy with the quality and the taste of it. Every dish we had, had a great balance of flavors and you could really taste the quality of the products. The vegetables were playing an important role and they played it good.

•Roasted carrots with a buttermilk-parsley dressing
•BBQ asparagus with samphire, green peas and koji sauce – a perfect combination of fresh flavors and umami
